Frame of Mind Mental Health – Victoria Drob

My approach

Do not underestimate the mind-body connection. A mind distraught is a body at risk. Psychological unease affects all aspects of our lives, as well as the lives of those nearest to us. Though our predicaments can often feel hopeless, and seeking relief can feel futile, psychotherapy proves daily that, in the care of a specialist, an altered perspective can offer life-changing insight, as well as the development of healthy and effective coping strategies to deal with a multitude of challenges.

I pull from a variety of different therapeutic modalities to offer relief from usual and unusual life circumstances. My approach is highly tailored to each individual and the situation at hand. I take pride in understanding the unique perspectives of my clients with an appreciation for each person’s distinct background.

In practice, I’ve learned that a client should feel some comfort and a connection with their therapist within their first session. Some therapeutic progress, relief, and/or a sense of a working relationship should be experienced by session two.
